  1. AUCTION INFORMATION SYSTEM  
  2.  
  3. This program is designed to track and record information for an auction.  
  4. It is specifically designed for, but not limited to, fund raising auctions 
  5. which have both silent and live auction segments.  All functions in this 
  6. shareware release are complete.  A minimum of a 286-PC with approximately 
  7. 1 megabyte of free space on the hard drive is required to use the system.  
  8.    
  9. To add the name of your organization to the reports and invoices,  you 
  10. must be a registered user.  When you register you will receive a 
  11. system registration number, telephone support if required, and the user
  12. manual. 
  13.    
  14. The shareware program is distributed with sample data in both the bidder 
  15. and auction item files to enable you to qucikly see how the functions 
  16. operate.  The sample data can be completely removed by using the file 
  17. maintenance functions found in the files sub-menu. 
  18.  
  19. The program has data files for the names and addresses of all bidders 
  20. and the information needed to record all items auctioned as a part of the 
  21. event.  All the primary program functions are accessible from a main menu.  
  22. Secondary reporting and maintenance functions are  accomplished through 
  23. maintenance and reporting sub menus. 
  24.  
  25. The complete system consists of the main program (written in Clipper)
  26. and the it's data files.

  34. * AUCBIDDR.NTX  - System index file 
  35. * AUCDONOR.NTX  - System index file  
  36. * AUCITEMS.NTX  - System index file  
  37. * AUCPEOPL.NTX  - System index file  
  38. * AUC_CAT1.NTX  - System index file  
  39. * AUC_CAT2.NTX  - System index file  
  40. * AUC_DATA.NTX  - System index file
